Which is unfortunate as they should've ended it. They should've seen that its going to drop in ratings again & they're slowly losing viewers. Most fans I've seen wanting it to have ended with Abby leaving

Yeah, I love the show, but I also think it would have been good if it ended. I just hope they don't bring in more characters this season like they did the past two. I don't like the revolving door they had going on.

Shows usually come to their natural end and the best showrunners know to end them. I think at this point NCIS has probably had a few natural ends but has managed to continue through them pretty well. That can't continue indefinitely though.

I think you are right on that. And I also agree that it can't do that.

Like, Abby's exit was a natural end and they seem to be moving past it pretty well anyway, but whether or not it can do the same with the next one, who knows

Seem to be, but too early to tell for hers ... we'll see... but I do agree there's been a few places they could've naturally ended but then managed to continue on easily enough

I think they've managed well so far. Just like they did with Ziva and Tony. Eventually they're going to get to a point where they can't, though.
