I do remember that there was a scene filmed with Taylor and Keith David, who is a cop, which might lead you to believe that Taylor's character obviously has some sort of interaction/history with the police

I just feel like this isn't his movie, the only background we're going to get on him is exposition through Chadwick and JK Simmons' characters when they identify him.

So agree with you. I really disliked all the references to Avengers in the trailer. I want movies to stand on their own - not have to be linked to some unrelated franchise to attract an audience. (Perhaps this is why marketing is not in my wheel house - I care too much).

I know it's not his movie, least as far as being super important for a complete chara background/breakdown but I'd love SOMETHING, as to the why and where he came from even if it is brief.

Well, if people do know for sure what the definition of a good movie is (Granted everyone's different) then I could get a little more excited again. I still am, mainly because of Taylor anymore, but yeah if the reactions are good then it could just be excitement for the movie in general for me again.

I'm more of a TV snob...I don't go to the movies often but if Taylor is in one I'm there.

Looks like Taylor will be in LA this weekend with the rest of the cast. I assume LA...I would guess they'll be doing press/photo call there this weekend.

I can't think of a question... even if I did have one it would probably be Tay specific, but I'd probably tune in anyway just to see 'em. I get the movie snob thing though, I'm an almost everything movie geek but more times than not prefer to stick to who I know
