I've only been to one restaurant, it was for Brunch and we were the first ones in when it opened, so we had choice seats.

Hope everyone is doing well. Been so busy this past week. My mom had to go back in the hospital and there was so much going on and a lot of not knowing. She finally came home yesterday but is going to require a lot of home care.

That's a shame. I lost my mom when she was 62 and my dad at 64. I never really got to see them get old.

My son and his partner came round last night for dinner and he is very happy with his new car. He said he will probably be working from home until next year as the quarantine rules keep changing and it is easier if they all stay separate from each other to be safe.

Pity the travel companies and travellers as new quarantine rules have just been announced for travellers from Spain and other countries may be added to the list if there are an increase in outbreaks there. The travel industry had just been opened up since the quarantine, and now people are advised against travel again and those coming home from Spain have to quarantine for at least 14 days. Even the Spanish islands like the Canary and the Balearics even though they have very low instances of the virus. All our holidays have been put on hold but we are managing 3 days away in The Lake District in September. Hopefully 'This will all be over by Christmas' as Boris has promised so we can take our Christmas cruise to The Canary Islands and Madeira via Spain and Portugal. If not we will have to go somewhere next year with our vouchers.

I wouldn't be travelling right now if you paid me. There is plenty to do right here in our own Province and lots of folks are taking advantage of that. Sales on Travel Trailers have had a significant increase this year due to everyone vacationing locally. The economy is suffering from all of this, but we will get through it and can start again.

By the time you can travel again Leslie, you will be so ready. You might even enjoy it more

I lost my dad when he was 68 too, he passed away from brain cancer. It’s rough.
