We both think that marriage commitment thing's a drag, we both want something
casual and fun and we clearly get along really well.

Barney: It's not sweet, it's like a disease. I slept with Robin one time and I caught feelings.
I caught feelings bad. I used protection and everything.
Lily: Barney, you don't catch feelings, you just have them. And they're good.
Barney: They're terrible. I can't eat, I can't sleep. She's all I think about. I close my eyes,
I see Robin. I hear a song, it reminds me of Robin. ... I sleep with that chick, I'm thinking about Robin!

Marshall: I know that you're in love with Robin! ... Lily told me.
Barney: She told you? Great, I bet you guys have been laughing
at me behind my back the whole time.
Marshall: Actually, in a weird way, we both think you're kinda perfect for each other.
Barney: You do?
Marshall: Yeah, matter of fact we even tried to sit on the same side of the booth
so you two would have to sit together.

Robin: We're both afraid of commitment but the fact is, we also can't live without each other.

I think both us and fans of the show saw
that they had great chemistry back in season one,
when Barney and Robin kind of wingman'ed each other one night in
Zip, Zip, Zip - they played laser tag and smoked cigars and stuff, and all the fans
started speculating that clearly it has to go that way. We just didn't want to rush towards it,
so we held off for a while. But ultimately we knew we wanted to get to that because they're great together.

Barney's feelings for Robin are out there,
and it seems like Robin might have
feelings for Barney herself.

It's not classic happily ever after, to say the least. It's two people that aren't
programmed for happily ever after and never would have prioritized that,
were it not for the fact that they're crazy about each other.

Gonna binge watch BR tonight getting ready for Mon night. Also I miss them a bit since we only got like five minutes with them on their wedding episode. I hope we get to see their wedding dance Monday. Now I am off to watch Sandcastles in the Sand.

I loved in "Sandcastles" that how Barney tells her how awesome she is, even before he knows that anything can happen, I like when they hang out in "Murtaugh" and in "Natural History", "Disaster Averted" when Barney mentions how not talking to her makes for a bad day. I like pretty much anytime, they long for each other and all the things they do for each other. They really get each other and have each others backs.

I never thought that Robin fully understood what Barney was doing in 401, I was thinking last night that when she overheard Barney in "The Leap" that it was news to her, or maybe that she had a notion that he liked her but dismissed it. But hearing that forced her to confront her own feelings and his as well. She liked to ignore anything that may be a commitment. Especially with her best friend. That is a huge risk. What if it didn't work out. Hoping Monday's episode won't taint the series. I hope we see their wedding dance and Ted's toast. I also want Barney to thank the mom.

Neil is great at the longing and I think that helped Cobbie up her game, not saying she wasn't good, but I think she got better. She was great when she wanted Barney and he was involved with someone else and when she was devastated over Barney's dating so soon after the break up. Really broke my heart. Wow! This has been fun reminiscing. I sleep during the day, but I think I may have to watch a couple more before bed.

Barney: Hey, I’m really sorry about that phone call.
Robin: Oh, it’s fine.
Barney: No, it is so not fine. I was a jerk. And if you don’t mind my saying, your dad is a complete idiot for not calling. He should never let a day go by without calling you, because… when I let a day go by without talking to you… um… then that day’s just no good.

Oh I definitely don't think that Robin consciously knew that Barney was in love with her in 4x01. I just think she sensed on some level that something had shifted in their relationship, and so she basically runs away rather than deal with what might be going on and how she might feel about it.

I just rewatched S8 and there are some really nice moments during the engagement where you really see how well they "fit". "The Fortress" where Robin recognises that, although he created them for his player lifestyle, Barney's inventions are actually quite cool and handy for a quick getaway! And the final episode of S8 where Barney remembers the first cigar they ever smoked together, and Robin calls him Barney Scherbatsky <3

Ah this is so hard to pick! There are a ton of perfect episodes with them but I think the one that I could just watch over and over and over is Rehearsal Dinner. Both Cobie ad Neil's acting is phenomenal that entire episode. It encompasses everything I love about Barney and Robin. I always think it's hilarious when she's "mad" at him... even then it's completely clear how much she loves and accepts him for who he is. Not to mention he gave her Frickin Canada! Could there ever be anything sweeter?!?!

That being said, I think my favorite SCENE is when they leave the apartment after lying to Lily about being "Girlfriend and Boyfriend" and then go get brunch holding hands.

I love them all hahaha. This is why we need a nice little video with every single BR scene ever!

I can see that about season four. She does tend to run. Especially when the steaks are this high. I loved the fortress when she accepts Barney the way he is and defends him to that couple. And when they celebrate being Legenmarried in a week. They seem so happy. I am watching where Robin tells Barney she can't have kids. He was so sweet and I loved what he told his mom. I also enjoyed the rehearsal dinner Brooke, I wished I could have heard that whole song that James and Alan sang. You are right about "Definitions" I love every time they hold hand but that first time was special.
