I've never seen him work this hard to keep one around.

We both think that marriage commitment thing's a drag, we both want something
casual and fun and we clearly get along really well.
Robin: Wow, that actually did make a lot of sense.
Barney: Yeah.

Lily: You're in love? That is so sweet!
Barney: It's not sweet, it's like a disease. I slept with Robin one time and I caught feelings.
I caught feelings bad. I used protection and everything.
Lily: Barney, you don't catch feelings, you just have them. And they're good.
Barney: They're terrible. I can't eat, I can't sleep. She's all I think about. I close my eyes,
I see Robin. I hear a song, it reminds me of Robin. ... I sleep with that chick, I'm thinking about Robin!

Marshall: I know that you're in love with Robin! ... Lily told me.
Barney: She told you? Great, I bet you guys have been laughing
at me behind my back the whole time.
Marshall: Actually, in a weird way, we both think you're kinda perfect for each other.
Barney: You do?
Marshall: Yeah, matter of fact we even tried to sit on the same side of the booth
so you two would have to sit together.
Barney: Really? That's so sweet!

Robin: I love you.
Barney: Let's be friends.
Robin: Okay, friends then.
Barney: I love you.
Robin: Let's get married.
Barney: No, you're smothering me.
Robin: Okay forget it.
Barney: AHHHH!
Robin: AHHHH!

Robin: We're both afraid of commitment but the fact is,
we also can't live without each other.
Barney: And if the alternative is not being together
then it's work taking this risk 'cause ... She's awesome.
Robin: And he's awesome. ... He looks nice in a suit.
Barney: She can handle her scotch.
Robin: He's my boyfriend.
Barney: And she's my girlfriend.

I think both us and fans of the show saw
that they had great chemistry back in season one,
when Barney and Robin kind of wingman'ed each other one night in
Zip, Zip, Zip - they played laser tag and smoked cigars and stuff, and all the fans
started speculating that clearly it has to go that way. We just didn't want to rush towards it,
so we held off for a while. But ultimately we knew we wanted to get to that because they're great together.

Barney's feelings for Robin are out there,
and it seems like Robin might have
feelings for Barney herself.

It's not classic happily ever after, to say the least. It's two people that aren't
programmed for happily ever after and never would have prioritized that,
were it not for the fact that they're crazy about each other.

The CBS descriptions get published in TV guides etc so they're hard to avoid.

I'm assuming that it's not going to be as simple as it sounds. It'll be one of those things where it's a TINY moment in the episode but the description makes it sound important. Like in Slapsgiving 2 when Ted said he was still in love with Robin but it was just so he could slap Barney.

I hope, anyway.

It says it jeapordizes her relationship though, so it's got to be somewhat important. I was kind of hoping maybe they just dislike Don for some reason so are teaming up to try and break them up, but then the heading saying they "fight" over their love for Robin. Ugh, I'm just going to be so pissed if they're seriously expecting us to believe that Ted is still in love with her

See, that's what I think it'll be. They're being childish and fighting over her to break her up with Don, she realises they're being stupid and childish on purpose and thinks "That's it, I've had enough of them."

I don't think it'll turn out to be the main plot - a lot of the ep descriptions from CBS have been misleading this season!

) I just don't believe Ted realizes he's in love with Robin just like that with no real build-up. I think this is fake though there must be a little more truth to it than Barney lets himself believe. I still haven't given up on wanting to show feelings from him

Hey, I haven't posted in a while, mainly because i have been really busy at work, but i also needed to distance myself because i got so emotionally involved with Barney and Robin it physically hurt me when they broke up!

I did want to say that I wouldn't trust everything CBS says in the descriptions, mainly because Carter and Craig like to screw with their audience. I was watching season two reruns and it annoys me a lot that Barney and Robin got such a small insignificant relationship when Ted and Robin got a real relationship.

BTW, just as an aside my friend met josh Radnor tonight. I hate her!!!!
