A HEARTWARMING LOVE STORY ABOUT TWO PEOPLE.

Naomi Campbell and Emily Fitch. Mrs and Mrs Campbell. Their story begins with once upon a time and ends with they lived happily ever after. They've loved each other since they were twelve years old, and though it was love at first sight, they were both too scared to tell each other how they felt. So Naomi ran and Emily chased. Emily saw something in Naomi that no one else did and that was what made her keep loving and chasing Naomi after so many years. And no matter how hard Naomi tried to deny her feelings or how fast or far she ran, she always ended up back with Emily.

They were each others' first and last kisses and each others' first and only loves. It was only when Naomi stopped running that they could become something. It was only when Emily took a chance and kissed Naomi again, that their story really began. Emily kissed Naomi and Naomi ran again, but not for long, because she realized that her feelings weren't something that could be pushed aside and ignored. They made love by a lake, held hands through a cat-flap, kissed breathlessly against a row of lockers, and laid their souls bare at the Love Ball.

But that wasn't the end. Like all epic love stories, things were never simple. They spent the best summer of their lives together, but as the summer ended, so did their happiness, and slowly their relationship began to unravel. Emily kept giving and Naomi kept taking, until they tore each other apart. Emily became the runner and Naomi, the chaser. But no matter what happened, they couldn't stop loving each other and they couldn't stay away.

They fought and cried and stripped each other of everything until nothing was left but love. Real, true love. Their journey was perilous and heartbreaking and more than they could bear at times, but it was all worth it in the end. They couldn't have gotten there -- the end, where their story both ended and began anew -- without the journey. And like every fairytale, like every epic love story, their story ended and began with a kiss.

And so, heartfelt declarations aside, they'll love each other forever. Soulmates. Lobsters.

why we love emily & naomi :

Why do we love Emily and Naomi? It's pretty easy to see why: they're made for each other. They've loved each other since they were both twelve years old, and while the journey was never easy, they never gave up and they never stopped loving each other, no matter what. Naomi and Emily are unique in the world of Skins, because the hugeness of their love is just so profound. Every time they tried to break apart, they just came back together again, bound even tighter than before. Their love is unrivaled in the Skins universe; there is no other couple that can compare.

And that doesn't just apply to the Skins universe. There is no other lesbian couple in the history of television that has had a story and love as great as theirs -- they rank among one of the most epic love stories of all time in any world, ever. They have made people believe that there is someone out there for them, made them realize that being gay is not only normal and okay, but that gay couples are just like heterosexual couples. And gay couples and characters, just like in real life, can be happy. Emily and Naomi have given strength to countless people, encouraging them to be open and honest. To just be themselves. No other couple can make that sort of claim.

Emily and Naomi love each other, so we love them. They bring out the best in each other, and even if their romance hasn't always been lovely and sweet, they've always managed to endure the rough spots and come out as a stronger couple than before. Naomi gives Emily confidence and Emily lets Naomi be herself. They support each other, they are each others' shadows; it's easy to see why they're so in love. They're beautiful together, and that's why we love them.

My poor bb Arizona doesn't stand a chance against Bo I love both Paige and Luce. I can't pick LG is the hot thing right now so no doubt one of them will win. I really hate polls where you can vote more than once.

I am kind of excited about them. I hope they're different to Effy's and something good. It will be weird to compare their promo pics from S3, S4 and S7. They'll look so different in all three. Their looks changed the most over the years out of all the Gen 2 characters. Maybe not style wise for Emily, as she just got a little flashier. But hair and facially wise they're different. They look a lot more mature now.

Let's show them some love even if it's all we can do.


LG is the new Glee. It's getting a fandom as big as that had/has. The others characters don't stand a chance from the looks of it. Probably not even Emily Fields. The only real contender against Bo or Lauren will probably be Santana and she'll need bot voting. I think the results might be a little fairer if you could vote only once, as only the big fandoms are voting multiple times. I saw some bummed Grey's fans saying they knew they couldn't win either because of how big and fierce LG, Glee and PLL fans are in polls.

Naomi and Emily are the David's against Goliaths because they're kind of forgotten atm That's why this poll needed to come after Fire aired, the love would be back for them. Or back in a bigger numbers. The votes would still be split because old Naomily fans are all over Lost Girls and PLL these days. I don't really get the adoration of Lost Girl but I guess some of it's because the lesbian couple get to have onscreen sex At least their sort of positive characters, that's a plus. I'd hate for a crappy character to win, that would be an insult.

AE just feels shallow these days. I used to love that site. I still read it but I only scan the odd article now. Unless you love the big US/Canadian shows then you're wasting your time on there. I'll probably visit less once Skins is over and until I get into a show they cover.

So we know she's done her Top 5. That's at least four that Skins are hoarding now. And three of those are Gen 2

I wanted Arizona to win because even though Shonda's pretty shtty at times, she's still better written than Bo. I like the fact shows like LG which are kinda considered the underdog are starting to get mainstream attention, it just sucks that the storylines aren't that great at the moment with characters doing 180's all over the place.

You obviously mean if Naomi or Emily couldn't win first I wouldn't have minded Arizona winning under those circumstances. She is a very positive portrayal of a lesbian character, but I don't think she is as deep as some others. Still a good character though. I don't watch LG so can't really comment on that one.

I voted Luce She's my third pick for winning out of the ones in the poll.

HH has been seduced by PLL. It's basically all she talks about these days when she's not talking about Glee. I think Fire will return Emily back to the one everyone loved. She isn't angry anymore and from what Kat said she's happy in herself. She should be a positive and great character. I think she'll top people's lists again. Her and Naomi.

No, she doesn't know anything and that's the problem. She and Rophy are terrified because they barely know anything and what they have heard is the doom and gloom tricks that Skins have been playing. She didn't know any of the BTS info we do. Sophy was wasn't even sure about the Emily being in NY thing. It looks like they haven't been keeping track of anything. And Skins haven't been giving info to HH yet.

Her fear is based on S6. She hated it and she's letting it colour S7 for her. For some reason her and Rophy are convinced that they'll pull the same stunts with Naomily and Effy in Fire. And completely change the characters and they probably even think that Naomi will sleep with Dominic If they'd kept proper track they'd know Naomi and Emily seem much like they always have only more adult, and that Naomily are still couple and will probably stay one. It's amazing how much of the fandom, even them, don't know what info is out there. Too busy with the US shows to take notice. Some people hadn't even realized Lily was a brunette these days, look at the video comments and some are shocked. They've all been living on the moon

Im not a fan of Lost Girl. Im annoyed by their fans actually and just for that I want them to lose. BUt I also want Arizona to win so I voted for her. We also need to get rid of Lost Girl ppl bc they are a big thread to Naomily since their show is airing right now. So ppl vote for Arizona just in the early rounds to beat Lost Girl so we dont have to worry about them later.

You cant deny they have grounds to be concerned though Jess has a really bad rep as a writer and although I decided to give her the benefit of the doubt, there are many people who will not, like HH I guess. You are right though, we need to wait and see before we judge. I hope you are right about her not knowing anything about Skins Fire. HH better jump back to the right ship. Im a fan of Paily but they are in no way even close to what Naomily are as a couple. U cant even compare them, they are oceans away from each other. Its also not fair to compare them bc Pretty little liars is a crime/mystery show whereas Skins is more about life and stuff

Whilst I don't agree with all the things HH does I don't think she's been seduced by PLL. Marlene King and the other writers plus Shay & Lindsey give AE a lot of interviews which gives them material to work with and to promote. Skins don't do that, and I think if they did then HH wouldn't be so negative about S7 and she'd also talk about the show more. Skins has kinda been forgotten about since Gen 2 aired so long ago, and in that time LGBT television in American has grown so of course she's going to cover that more.

It's Skins own fault in a sense. After Gen 2 finished there was buzz with the movie talk which ended up going nowhere, and Gen 3 wasn't a success so people moved onto other shows. Announcing the special's last year brought a little hype but when they're so secretive giving very little details, and with no exact air date it's hard to get that same level of interest it had in the heyday.

When I first heard about the specials I was excited at the thought of Naomily being back on our screens. When I heard Jess was writing the Fire episode's, that excitement dwindled. It doesn't matter what information we have that Naomily will be ok or Kat & Lily being positive about the eps, I don't have a lot of faith in Jess. Which is why I'm always inbetween on watching the special in case she does fck them up.

What have LG fans done to you? I admit I find some a bit full-on but I don't know them that well. I did vote for the others against them but not because I was trying to vote them out but because I liked the others more. We're not getting them out, Angel Their polls are getting more votes than some of the others.


You always have grounds to be concerned with Skins. But I think people are being overly paranoid about Fire and Naomily tbh. I don't think Jess is going to rewrite any of the characters. In fact Lily and Kat have said they're the same or more or less so. I don't think Jess will have Naomi being anything but gay and faithful, and I don't think she will break Naomily up over NY. I can't be 100% sure she wouldn't kill Naomi off but the BTS info suggest otherwise. Jess actually isn't a bad writer IMO. I've watched her episodes and I liked one of them and thought the other had good parts though it was OTT in others. But the storylines called for that because they'd been set-up by the previous episodes to be. People are so blinded by their S6 hate that they don't see that it wasn't all badly written and that it's irrelevant anyway. S7 is a whole other animal, old characters who are already firmly established in personality and history. And new situations because this time they're adults so they can't be as OTT. At least Fire and Pure can't. It wouldn't work in an adult world to go as crazy as some of the last series did.

Fire is said to be a dark and adult drama. Part of that already sounds different to S6. And I don't think it could be as dark as it anyway. The only one I think will match or out-do the darkness is Rise. Fire is set in London around finance and the characters trying to get good jobs. It doesn't allow for loads of craziness. I think the biggest drama in it will be Naomi's tragedy. And it's looking hopeful she doesn't die from that. HH doesn't seem to know the things we do, and I don't hate S6. I don't like it but I've seen worse things, S5 for a start So I'm not as pessimistic as she and others are I'm not happy about all we know but I am hoping there's humour and romance mixed in with the dark, and I am hopeful Naomily survive. I might be wrong and HH is right to be worried But right now I have no reason to think so, I'm going to wait for more spoilers or to see it to judge. I've seen bits of Paily and I agree with you, they seen nice but they don't have the history, depth, intensity or I have a feeling the lasting power of Naomily. But people are attracted to what's shiny and new including HH by the looks of it. You forget the good in the old when dazzled by the new it's human nature.
