I remember when I first saw the first few episodes of the spinoff, I keep thinking about the way that Brenda and Kelly dodge Dylan's name. I think the writers did do a decent job of keeping viewers guessing who the father was. Whenever Ryan was around, they would refer to the father as "Sammy's father." I also remember when Brenda was asking Kelly about Ryan, she would ask "Does he know?" After it was given that it was Dylan, there wasn't much of a surprise or a reason to watch....at least for me, that is.

I don't know why but I was looking at the board and title and it made me curious.
This thread is hilarious.  I can't believe they didn't know that Walsh had anything to do with the orig. show! Did they even watch it?  It is an insult to include Buffy The Vampire Slayer & Angel in a list of Teen dramas! There are college classes taught about these shows. Google Buffy College. That had to be said. The first especially. Neither can fit in any genre. Anything that comes after similar are complete ripoffs. I only made it a like 5 episodes watching this crap.  Do not consider any of it Canon to the orig. __________________
