as for first date, i LOVED it, and the fact that Luke told Lorelai how they shouldn't have sex yet was the cuttest thing ever

Hey, guys!

What are your biggest pet peeves when it comes to LL fics? What makes you roll your eyes and scream in frustration?
Is there anything that would make you stop reading immediately even if the rest of the fic is good?

I'll start with a peeve. Lorelai and Luke are happy and in love, everything is perfect and idyllic, and then one of the exes appears out of nowhere. There is no build-up, no reason for them to be there, and they are still infatuated with one of the Ls. How realistic is for Max to come to SH in 2008. pleading with Lorelai to take him back 'cause he can't live without her anymore?

I really hate it when they make Lorelai to be too angelic and luke starts to randomly eat junkfood and call her lor

I agree. No "Lor" from Luke's lips.

And while Christopher should be around for Rory and Anna should be around for April, they should not be around for Lorelai or Luke, respectively. Neither L should spend time with C or Anna unless it has to do with the kids and they shouldn't get jealous of time spent with the exes when it's for kid purposes. In fact, neither L should be excluded from events for either kid because the ex plans to be there.

Other exes have moved on and should stay that way.
