So I finally rewatched episode 1 of season 2, and I forgot how bloody amazing Alec is! Seriously, his introduction was awesome, I love how he's just like "let's get down to business" about the whole breeding thing

I also loved the contrast with how cocky and smartass-like he was, but then he had a sense of threat about him too, like when he caught Max coming back from visiting Joshua, and in the apartment. I mean, he was playful but he took his orders and work seriously - it gave a sense of what he was like right at the beginning, if that makes sense.

He had some great one liners too - "successful copulation between X5-452 and myself, ma'am!...twice"

I love the fine line he played, going from a cocky smart-ass to 'don't mess with me, bitch!' He also done it with so much swagger, like he didn't have a care in the world, he was just doing his job.

The swagger is one of the most noticeable things about him in that episode, he definitely has attitude and spunk. I love when he's helping Max escape and accidentally-on-purpose knocks the kids down then tries to just brush it off
