I started rewatching DA last night. Bad idea. I coudn't stop! And I think I'm in love with Alec even more now id that's even possible.

And a little Alec squee moment for you girls. Alec doing a britsh accent! I squeed like a pig on a high at that!

So I finally got my DA dvds. I've been watching them all day and just like everyone said, including myself, I fell head over heels for Alec. He's just too amazing for words! I loved how within seconds of his first actual scene he's already taking off his shirt. *squee!* I honestly don't get how Max said no to him... I'm not gonna bore you all with how great I think he is cause I'm sure you already know that perfectly well but I love, love, love his smart aleck, witty, I-don't-give-a-crap attitude. And the cockiness doesn't hurt either. God knows I like cocky smart asses too much for my own good.

Janine, I added you too! YAY for watching season 2, and doubly YAY for loving Alec so much! Of course it was inevitable, but it's awesome to see how excited you are about it. Please, squee and share away, I want to know what you think of EVERYTHING!

Well, if you guys really don't mind then here are some of my favorite moments that I can remember off the top of my head. Obviously his first scene with Max. That's gotta be the best character introduction EVER! I love all the Alec and Joshua interaction! It's just

In Proof of Purchase I was so worried he was actually gonna kill that one kid, Max and Joshua but I was so glad he didn't!

So far Gill Girl is one of my favorite episodes simply because of Alec. The strip club scene is "What're you doing?" "Fitting in!" It was so funny how Max was just sitting there petting him. "Can we concentrate on coming up with a plan?" "I'm thinking!" "You're talking!" "I can do both." "I doubt that." "Well you just lost your tip." I was literally doubled over laughing at that scene! His face and delivery was just too cute for words! "He's not gonna eat that, right?"

Another favorite has got to be Medium is the Message. The Alec and Joshua scenes were pure ! "Oh, I have a headache."

The Berrisford Agenda was also a really good episode. I like learning about Alec's past. And when he fell of the bike oh that was hilarious! I loved how in the end he tried to save the girl and her dad. The part where he's tied up and the dad was gonna kill him "Do it! You know I deserve it." Or something like that, I knew he wasn't gonna die but I was still on the edge of my seat! Poor Alec. The scene when he's in the girls room and he breaks down.. *squishes Alec* I'm not one who usually cries over movies or shows or anything like that but that scene had me with tears running down my face! I've only ever cried over a show/movie a few rare times and each and every one of those times it was Jensen behind the screen... Damn you Jensen and you're insane talentedness!

Some of my favorite lines:
"Copulation between X5 452 and myself successful, Ma'am. Twice."
- That line had me laughing for like ten minutes!
"We're living on borrowed time. And if you don't put your heart out there on the line, you're never really living at all."
- I swear my heart swelled when he said that!
"You know, this isn't exactly a plum assignment for me either. You spent half your life out there in filth and degradation. I could catch something."
- It was already a given that I was gonna love Alec but this line made sure there was no way back!
"Guess we're just gonna have to get their attention, then." "Please tell me you're gonna get naked."

"You know, this whole tough-chick act thing is really unbecoming. "I'm gonna bounce you on your ass. I'm gonna smack your bitch head." It's so unfeminine."

I that scene you mentioned, that whole back and forth between Max and Alec? So SO perfect. I loved how uncomfortable Max was, and Alec was just 'what the hell is she doing?!' Brilliant.

I love that whole falling off the bike scene. I think it was said that it wasn't actually scripted, Jensen just kind of added it in! And TBA is a brilliant episode. I loved how much more depth they added to Alec, and it was brilliantly acted. He is a good person, despite everything he was put through, the fact that he went against his innate training, coding if you will, just amplifies that fact.

Loved all the lines you listed too! I'm SO glad you're enjoying it so much! And congrats on 1000 posts!

Janine. I'm so happy for you right now. I've spent the past couple of days reliving all those wonderful Alec moments you've mentioned and I've found a million more reasons to love him too! It really irks me though that he got pushed aside towards the end though. There's so much more to Alec's story that we never got to see.

It was really fun learning about his past and how he wasn't always so loyal, if you will, to Manticore. And it killed me to see just how hurt he was for doing his job and the consequences of it.

It really irks me though that he got pushed aside towards the end though. There's so much more to Alec's story that we never got to see.

I just finished the season and I completely agree! It pissed me off how he was slowly becoming a big deal in the show and in the last episode he was just thrown aside like he was an extra and Logan took his place. That made me dislike Logan a bit more. That's true I would've loved to see and learn more about Alec's past. They should've done like an Alec spin-off of the show. Maybe that would've gotten a bit more success than DA. And it would've been awesome!

I finally finished S2 this afternoon so I'll post my thoughts on the rest of it tomorrow.
