That's gotta be why MW felt so threatened by him in the show.

Anywho, it's been a while, but I finally watched episode 2 of S2, and um, kinda fell in love with Alec even more. The details are sparse because it's been a few weeks, but I loved everything we found out about him in that episode, because it totally established his character - his love for junk food; the fact he has a conscience, shown by how he followed the X-kids back, and rescued Max, even though he left before; he came back because he felt it was the right thing to do; the way he tried to comfort Bullet in the barn when they had to cauterize his leg after getting shot!

He could so easily have been a Manticore drone but all of that showed the layers he had already, gah, I loved it! I have to go back and just rewatch that episode so I can remember the detail better, then squee about it

Absolutely! Ever since I heard about all that crap, I can't watch promos of NCIS without giving MW the evils!

I love that in that one episode we can already see that he's got a huge heart when he's not being a loveable arse!

That is so true! And loveable arse is just the perfect way to describe him

But in serious, Jensen was right when he said Alec had a heart, and it's evident from early on. I defy anyone to say he was selfish and uncaring, and if they do, they're obviously blind!

I know what you mean, by the way, I can't see a picture or clip of MW without wanting to throw things at him

You've gotta look beyond the exterior with Alec, he's got so much more going on underneath!

Me, too! I can't watch NCIS because of it, it makes me way too annoyed!

And of course Alec had a heart! It was just as big as Joshua's! When it really came down to it.

It's so true! He was so multi-layered and charismatic. That's why I find it so frustrating watching it. Like, he's in it for a few wonderful minutes, then I'm just waiting for the next scene with him in.

Me,too.

Alec was such a great character with so much heart and caring for others. How´s it possible that someone might not have seen that?!

I don't know, I saw this comment on YT recently where someone said something about how they didn't like Alec because he was an egoist and just didn't care about anyone else

It really bugged me because it's just so not true!
