I think we would try to show more of that and try to create even more drama there. We felt that was slightly a backburner relationship. It was there, but it didn’t cook as high as we could [have]. Robert King "I hope they continue to develop its relationship with Cary, which I find really exciting." Archie Panjabi "There's something about Cary that is always very important to her" Robert King "They've had a moment. Whether that develops into something serious, who knows? You just never know with Kalinda." Archie Panjabi "That relationship is fun to watch, because you're never quite sure if they're going to help each other out or screw each other over." Matt Czuchry "kalinda and cary are so destined to shag dont you think?" Alan Cumming "I think the two of them are interesting together because they can be very professional with each other and be fighting each other at opposite ends for a case. But when they’re by themselves, they can sit down and have a drink together and actually have a lot of fun together. It’s definitely an interesting chemistry. Rather than a love-hate relationship, we call it a care-injure relationship. Somehow they care about each other but they always end up injuring each other. I think it’s probably because Kalinda’s not very good with relationships. Everytime Cary opens up to her, Kalinda takes a step back, and then kind of misses him." When he is not the suburban white boy who sits back passively, but someone who attacks something and is proactive," Robert said. . Definitely are't just passing anymore huh?So, I only recently caught up with the show and sometimes I'd drift off because they werent interacting a ton for a good chunk there... can someone clarify... they slept together only once before? Are we assuming this was the second time? And not that it's been ongoing? Obviously they use each other at different times but does everyone believe they both have genuine feelings? Why do you guys think they are so hesitant to make it more serious? __________________

Nope no passing happening anymore.
For long this has been going on? Not really sure to be honest. We definitely know there was at least one time, because they hinted at it the next morning, but I personally think it could have also happened again after they went to drinks right after Kalinda came to his apartment. But that is just me speculating and no fact. But I definitely doubt that it has been going on during a long period of time, especially with them being at odds for the past several months. I am pretty convinced that Cary has feelings for, had them for a long time too, Kalinda is a bit more tricky, because she easily jumps in bed with people. But maybe that's were it is different with Cary, because she always took a step back when they got too close instead of just hooking up for him. I wouldn't call it her being in love with him but I think she has some kind of feelings for him that make her uncomfortable because she doesn't know how to deal with them or Cary for that matter. That's why it hurt her when he went after Robyn for the job and why they ultimately avoided each other for a long time. While she still realized that she missed having him around and that maybe she made some mistakes too. So her going to him, apologizing, meant a really great deal, cause it isn't something Kalinda does very often, if at all. About the taking it serious part, I think it really comes back to them not being able to trust each other. While Cary has a hard time accepting her change of heart because he has been through a lot with her in the past couple of years, Kalinda neither trust him to not betray her, nor herself. In all honesty Kalinda is one messed up woman that went through a lot, she trust no one but herself. That's how it has always worked best for her. But here is Cary someone she knows actually cares about her and her well being and she is not used to it and with that not ready to fully trust the situation. She has come a long way already IMO, with her going to him for once, but it is just one step of many she still needs to take. __________________
