No, I actually agree with you about that. Duncan became more interesting character. But he and Veronica IMO could not be together any more. In S2 finale Logan told her: "Veronica, you're not a killer." So, I can't see her with the "killer" in the end (I initially assumed, that Duncan would have returned and they would have ended up together).

Irony is, that Duncan killed Aaron for Veronica (too) - to protect her from Aaron, It's so noir

.

So, yes, Leo is better than Duncan for Veronica now.

I think Duncan was her on paper perfect boyfriend in Veronica's mind. But then by the movie you can tell that I think she's finally realized and accepted that relationship wouldn't have worked that Logan will always be her soulmate.

Yes, you're right.
If Veronica wasn't raped (ironically by Duncan too), she could have been happy with Duncan. But after she was raped, she became a different person.

I don't know, I think Veronica pre-Lilly was still her red satin self, she just didn't really let it fly until post-Lilly. And I think she would have always been the other half for Logan.
