Yes, it's been a pretty good day. How about you?

It's been all right, a bit slow. I'm just happy I have this extra day to the weekend, even though I don't go back to work until the 9th.

I wish my TV, DVR and remote would work. I find it ridiculous I pay all this money when I don't watch TV 99.9% of the time. I would just cancel cable and watch stuff on Netflix, but they don't have the random programs I like watching with a working television.

oh, that's a nice break Do you have any plans?

I'd be lost without my DVR. I don't watch much live anymore, but record to watch later.

I hope the DVR box doesn't have to be replaced!

I have a season of Grey's Anatomy, a season and half of CSI: New York, and a season or two of BONES (but not all the episode) on it. Plus a bunch of movies I've recorded on it.

So I came downstairs and dug the receipt out of the trash ... crackers are the only thing I don't remember seeing in the cupboard, so obviously, I'm going crackers.
Hilarious!

I wish we have Netflix over here.

You can't get it online, Lindsay?

I have a bad headache this morning, the first one in a few days.

Each country has its own Netflix, and some don't have it at all. I hear the US Netflix has the widest variety of shows.

I don't have cable or a DVR. I just have Netflix and an antenna. If it's not on Netflix, ABC, NBC, The CW, CBS, or ION, I don't watch it. No sense in paying $70 for cable/satellite.

Yeah, I pay a ridiculous amount for cable and DVR each month, and I don't even use it! I'm seriously thinking of ending cable services.

It's cheaper to have Hulu and Netflix than any cable service. Hulu usually has new episodes.

Which one do you have? Is either better than the other?

Chris.

My Tuesday is going by very slowly, and I'm bored out of my mind. I can't wait to go back to work next week. I wanted to go back this week (beginning today) but they said no.

How is your Tuesday going?

I have Netflix. Hulu is good if you want to catch up on the latest episodes, since Netflix doesn't update new episodes right away. Hulu also has some shows Netflix doesn't (like every season of Law & Order: SVU). Personally, Netflix has everything I care about at the moment, so I have no use for Hulu really. I just make sure I'm home on Thursday nights so I can see my Grey's and I'm good. (And if I'm not, well, I have workarounds).

Yeah, I'm definitely leaning towards Netflix. I'm not going to cancel cable yet because I'm moving next spring. I'll just not set up cable services there and instead sign up for Netflix. Now that I'm working, I can spend $7 a month for it.

No sense paying for something if you're not using it.

What type of work do you do Bec?

I wonder if I can talk hubby into going out for fish & chips for supper tonight?
