Spun and Manny having sex surprised me because the show still seemed to be in that a couple only has sex when we tell or show you they do. Oh and it always led to circumstances, oh those circumstances.
 Spin and Darcy thought? Those first awkward dates they had were golden, among the best first dates the show has done. __________________

        mchowls I think Darcy's innocence really balanced out Spinner when he was coming out of a dark period. We need him talking about his childhood and not being reminded of what happened with Rick, although his (former) friends didn't want to let us forget. Didn't Jimmy crash one of those awkward first dates? __________________

I've always wondered about that scene in season 4 where Darcy sprays Spin at the car wash thing Degrassi was doing, if Sparcy was planned all along and they were foreshadowing them with that scene or if they saw chemistry between them and decided to go for it in season 5.

I think it's probably more the latter. That scene was early enough in the season that it wouldn't surprise me if they hadn't even decided she would stick around or disappear like some of the other recurring characters over the years

Darcy and Spin probably had breakfast dates at The Dot. And lunch dates. Dinner too. Because there wasn't any other places to go on dates.
