I'm just hoping that I can recover my hard drive files...lots of music and pics on them...I think I finally get the message though to subscribe to an online backup service with the next one...it's worth the extra 60 bucks a year!

So vacation has started, the hotel only has wireless in the lobby so I have limited access and I sign in with my phone so postings hard hopefully ill be able to sign in with my laptop tomorrow

Thanks Shades...I have a friend who repairs computers for a living and he told me that I will be able to simply plug my old HDD directly into a new computer(which I have already ordered)and my files will be recovered easily so keep those fingers crossed and enjoy your vacation.

Yeah - got one with a lot of memory and the new Windows 7 OS and it sucks!!! i wish I had my old Vista program back.

Noo, not goodbye yet Im here for a couple of days, and even when Im gone Ill have dial up

W7 is redone Vista with more pain-in-the-butt security measures, for instance, I now have to sign in all of my logins every time I come on my PC which is a pain...Vista saved them even if I shut down. W7 is inserting more MSN ads by at least 10x over what Vista did and I have to remove them almost every logon so now I have to shut off my updating which means i miss out on security updates. I now have to get a new webcam because W7 will not install the drivers from my old cam which I was able to use on Vista; most of my downloaded programs will not work on W7 so I have to try and contact each company to get them reinstated...Norton already refused saying they could not authorize transfer of Anti Virus sodtware to new Operating Systems...now I am running on a 60 day Norton Trial and I will have to buy another in 45 days...need I go on?

wow, that does sound annoying though Ive gotta say I dont have the sign in everytime problem
