As for Snow. Sorry. But as long as she's part Mary Margaret I'll never believe that being a teacher (especially after being brainwashed to be one) is what she really wanted. Not after fighting for her kingdom back in the EF before the curse.

Snow is not a real person so she will only really want what the writers say she wants. They have made it very clear that she wants to teach. She only "took back the kingdom" when people's lives were in danger. She was mayor and quit. You're barking up the wrong tree with this outrage that she's not "Queen". And what about Midas, Abigail, Phillip, Aurora, Thomas, Thomas Dad. They all have as much right to "rule" SB as Snow. She was not the rightful Queen of the entire Enchanted Forest. Just Leoplod's kingdom and George's that she ruled as the Charming's wife since they took it over and he was the official ruling Prince Regent. Plus Storybrook is in America. No one has a right to rule anything here. They can call Mayor "Queen" or "City Manager" or whatever, but it's not an inherited position.

Whatever issue you have with Regina being the Mayor or the Queen has absolutely nothing to do with Snow or season 7, because we have absolutely no confirmation that Snow will be in season 7 in any way, shape or form. Season 6 ended with Snow and Charming happy together in their new beginning. Snow lived her entire adult life serving others, because that's what a hero does. In the end, her happy ending was to live her own life. The same with Charming. Until we see something on screen that contradicts their happy ever after, that is all we have. She's not the same woman who fought The Evil Queen in the Enchanted Forest. She's a mother, a wife and a school teacher. There is nothing wrong with any of those things and none of those things is a result of brain washing.

I would just as soon focus on characters who are actually going to have a screen presence this season rather than Snow, Charming, Neal, Wilby, and Zelena, who we may never see again. Even Emma, who is only back for one episode, isn't that important to season 7. Old grudges also seem unimportant. I sincerely hope this topic is closed.

I suppose Roni could potentially have something to lose if Victoria's development plan somehow involves her bar.
It's hard trying to keep a business afloat by yourself. Not as hard as running a town. But that's the thing about cursed identities. They're meant to be a downgrade from someone's real life.
The irony is not lost on me.

I think she has a bar merely to mirror Robin having a tavern. In fact, her name being Roni, and the symbol for her bar being 'arrows' is a clear reminder, IMO. It was clearly intentional.

It would be nice for the heroes to get a few victories of their own, even if they are still subject to real world laws. Regina abused her power as mayor, but she still had to follow the rules and let Emma be sheriff when she won the election.
I suspect Victoria's attempts to push everyone out of the neighbourhood won't be so easy, with people like Jacinda fighting her on it. The more I read about this new Cinderella the more I like her.

Well, any brainwashing or removing of one's agency in general should be considered a downgrade.

I think that's exactly why she has the bar. I think Hook is an officer as a tribute to Emma.
We have been told that this curse is different. Maybe they even were able to pick their ocupations?
