Well the Falcon is kind of lame except in the MCU films, where Anthony Mackie makes him great, and the Black Panther is too "perfect" to have a personality, but Luke Cage and Storm are great. Monica Rambeau took Captain Marvel's name after he died, but she wasn't any sort of ripoff of him, so she's another example -she's a great character. Bishop is another good one. He was great in the '90s. And that's just black characters. There's other good examples of Latin-American characters (Sunspot, Rictor), Jewish characters (Shadowcat, Magneto, Thing), Native American characters (Dani Moonstar, Warpath), Asian and Asian-American characters (Yukio, Jubilee -lots of people seem to hate her, but she's actually a great character), etc.

Thanks for mentioning all of those characters. Oh, and what about War Machine? I think James Rhodes managed to be more than just a second Iron Man with a Gatling gun on his shoulder. Man, Bishop was so ripped off by not being in the X-Men movies.

Oh, I know he was, sum1. But his name was never mentioned and he had minimal screen time. I forgot if he even had any dialogue.

Thanks, dragonfire. Can't say I'm excited about this. But why do I get the feeling they're setting up Kraven's Last Hunt?

Don't forget Sony spin-offs aren't part of the MCU. So just like Venom, Kraven may not have any connection to Spider-Man.

That's only gonna mean it'll suck. This is why Marvel needs to get Spider-Man back from Sony. All these Spider-Man characters can't really exist without the one thing that makes them special in the first place, and that's Spider-Man. Sony can't compete with Marvel using just Spider-Man villains.

Sony is still kidding themselves that they can maintain this idiocy. No one's gonna care about their universe of Spider-Man villains.

I was hoping that Marvel/Disney would back them into a corner or something. Just buy out their rights to Spider-Man completely.

I wish they would. It's not like the films could get any worse than Homecoming.
