Send more applications! Call the employers for a follow-up show them you're interested and motivated. Don't wait around (unless they specifically said "no call").

Hello i am new to this thread but not new to being rejected for jobs. sometimes i wonder what do EMPLOYERS WANT from me? i got a college degree and i have work experience to back it up but i guess that is not enough for them unfortunately they want you to damn near kiss their feet for a job. I understand the interviewing process comes with gaining employment but sometimes i suck at that. I was going to an employment agecy but me and the job coach there couldn't see eye to eye so now i am at square one. Maybe when i go to DVR my counselor will refer me to another agency. It seems like i will never get a job and its really depressing the hell out of me.

I work at a restaurant (server), but it's obviously not what I want to do. I have been doing this type of work for 5 years now. The pay is good when I do work... one night, I went home with 200 dollars for like 6 hours. I just don't work enough. *sigh*

I will be finishing my Bachelor's in May... only a few more weeks left!!!

I think that it's depend on job that you want and why you want to work there when you apply there.. Plus some job, they want you to have more experiences and stuff like that.. But when it comes to interview, they may ask you the questions as long you can be honest w/ them..

Employers will also prefer to recruit someone with experience. The job posting is the profile of the ideal candidate. Don't let that stop you from applying. Give it a try. If you get a call back that means they saw something interesting in your application. At interviews, talk about your motivation, quailties (soft skills) and your potential if you don't have tons of working experience.

Practice your interview with a career counselor like me haha, it gives you feedback on your performance.

Ugh this is frustrating, not having a job. I've been looking and looking and applying everywhere and nothing.

And now my sister is is being a pain in the ass and getting on my case about it.
