So how is gonna work, really? How many will get eliminated in each group and how many nights will they have to perform before they form the top 12? Or are there even top 12 this season??

Here is how it was explained to me:
3 groups of 12......

Tonight, we see the first group of 12. Only the top 3 highest vote getters(1 boy, 1 girl and the third one) are safe.

And so on and so on for the next 2 groups of 12. By the end.....we will have 9 out of the 12. And I think the judges get to pick the other three.
