No, it was Sara who said Nick was at the American Institute of Forensic Science Conference (I thought it was weird why no one knew where Nick was except Sara and maybe Grissom since he's the boss), and Catherine was the one who asked where Nick was.

I think they just threw this in there so the viewers wouldn't be like-where's Nick?

I'm also glad they didn't put Griss together with Sara-just don't see the chemistry between them.

As for Sara telling Cath she never really looked at the girl's face-then she'd have to admit it bothered her.Sara never talks about things that bother her.She keeps everything all bottled up-that's why she has such a 'sunny' disposition lately.

Hey guys..I lurk here ocassionally but I watch CSI nearly every week. I just kinda felt like dropping by and commenting since I really liked Thursday's ep.

Not really much of a Grissom/Sara shipper, but I was really intriqued by how they "hinted" upon it in this episode. Grissom looking into the mirror and seeing Sara's reflection and being confused/disturbed by it was good. But like I think some of you said...I like them playing with the idea of a relationship..but I wouldn't want them to actually go through with it. I just don't see any chemistry there. *ducks and runs*

I love more "professional" killer episodes like this one. I mean, he wasn't a serial killer anything, but being a dr, he knew what he was doing...cleaning up after himself and all. Not good enough apparently, but it makes the CSI jobs even harder and more interesting if you ask me.

I also liked it how they had the dr get away with it..kind of. It's nice sometimes when they don't always catch the bad guy..but they play upon his guilt. Grissom's so good at that. Great scene at the end.

Only negative thing...I missed Nick.

M3..yeah I agree about the bag thing. I was expecting that to looked into farther too. And yeah, I found the doc just dumping the body into the trashcans right out back was a little sloppy. I mean, he took the time to place them all neatly in plastic zip-lock baggies, but he just puts them in the most obvious place to be found? Hmm...

Anyway..nit-picking now..I loved the ep, though.

EXACTLY! He FOLDED the victims CLOTHES! I mean, 12 hours to cut up a body, probably another three hours to clean up and scrub the entire place down and run the sweeper, and he just.... LEAVES IT THERE!? Not even a trash can down the street or anything, but one right by her place? You'd almost think he wanted to get caught/be recognized as the killer. But... why go to so much incredible work and then just. Stop. ?

Maybe the actual act of killing the man, was just that...an act of passion. He was lost in those moments, so once he came back he lost his head, didn't know what to do so he did the easiest thing, throw the clothes (and body parts) away as fast he could. I mean the man couldn't have been in the clearest state of mind after killing someone.

I don't really know what I'm rabbling on about

And Tina, I like your av..I was wondering where you got the pics for it?

I enjoyed the episode incredibly disturbing but I liked it. Though I have to admit I wasn't shocked about who was the killer. I did enjoy seeing Kyle Secor again though.

I think he left the body in those trash cans on purpose. The whole crime was planned out and it was all about his hatred for the other doctor. He wanted the body to be found-just not right away.He didn't think he'd be caught-that's what all the cleaning and the bleach was about.None of the evidence from the victim pointed to him-so why not leave him in an obvious-yet last place you'll look-place?It further showed the killer's contempt for the man.The girl was killed-but left in one piece-only one wound-he loved her.Passionate-yet disturbing-demonstration of his love.

For all you true G/S Shippers out there....keep the faith. It will happen. It will happen. Think, last five episodes of the season and keep the faith.

It was definately graphic especially the dismembered body in the tub EW!

But while I found the killer to be predictable it was great to see Kyle Secor once again.

I taped it too just incase. Oh well, cold case isn't so bad, I like that show, but tonight's episode will be taping over it.

Hmm, I wonder if Grissom comes forth with his feelings for Sara and that will actually make her a happy gal instead of Sara "I ain't getting things going my way so I'll be pissy from now on" Sidle. </STRONG>
While I sincerely hope nothing will happen between Grissom and Sara because they have no chemistry and are so boring together, I do wish they would give Sara some happiness. She is one of the most miserable and cold characters I've ever seen and throws tantrums like a five year old when she doesn't get her own way.

I missed Nick in this episode

This is one of my favorite episodes. I missed the first half hour of it, but caught the last.

I love this episode too. It's nice to see Grissom being affected this way.

Yea, I also didn't catch all the rerun, so I went back and watched it on tape. I didn't care so much for the actual case this episode, but Grissom's little "lament" at the end with Sara watching through the glass makes it well worth it.

It was one of the highlights of season 4 for me. Grissom coming out and laying it on the line.

Yeah, the case didn't do it for me either, but it was a great episode for the personal storylines. Grissom dealing with his feelings for Sara. Sara dealing with the shock of seeing someone who looks a lot like her dead (can you imagine seeing someone who looked a lot like you dead? Doesn't sound like fun). I actually liked Catherine in this episode, she seemed genuinely concerned about Sara. Greg was as great as always, but aside from seeing him outside the lab I didn't see much of a growth in him. Unfortunately I don't remember much about Nick or Warrick (were they even in this episode?).
