Seth in that moment  You can feel Oz's pain as he restrains himself from going back inside. He knows he might regret the decision to leave her, but he also knows that the decision is out of their hands because of everything that happened with Veruca.

I also like the episode cause it shows how much of a friend Buffy is to Willow, pissed at Oz for hurting her friend.

"Now would be a good time for your trademark stoicism" -- OUCH  you could sense Oz's embarrassment there.

New Moon Rising is like a cold, dead fish. I'm glad Oz came back and they gave him closure but everything just feels off when he returns. I hate how when he returns it's so obvious things are different and you can just FEEL it. It's so obvious Willow's feelings have changed. It's so great when he tells Willow he cured himself but then it's bs when they say she brings the wolf out, what a crock.

Marti Noxon, the writer, pretty much stated in a special feature on the DVD that this was Oz's way of reacting badly to the idea that she was in love with a girl.
I was disgusted by her explanation of it, to be honest  Oz wasn't that narrow-minded. It simply hurt him that she was with somebody else.

I hate how he's not really brought up again after S4, I also wish he would of returned sometimes. I think he should of returned when Buffy died and when Willow turned evil. He could of been one of the people that attempted to get through to her. Or even when Willow was in England with Giles, he could of stopped by to visit her. The only "good" thing about Oz leaving is I heard if he stayed he would of gotten shot in Tara's place and I would of been even more pissed if Oz died and his pairing with Willow ended that way. They will always be my favorite couple on the show though. It's good they weren't murdered like some of the other pairings were.

THIS :high_five: That was such a missed opportunity  they should have brought him back at that point. I'm trying to think if Seth would have been available - he was in the last Austin Powers movie, which came out around that time. But I think he would have been honored to have been asked to appear in the final season. :bawl:
