Rope is quite interesting. Basically you have these two guys who just killed one of their schoolmates and are putting his corpse in a trunk in the middle of their living room. They killed him for no particular reason other than to see what it would be like and if they were up to it. They also invited his parents and his girlfriend to dinner to make it more interesting.
The whole movie is a play around their contempt for people they deem inferior and the theory that murder is acceptable if you're on top of the food chain. It's quite cynical actually. And there's a lot of tension regarding whether they are going to be found out. __________________
