STAY ON TOPIC: Please avoid posting just smilies or yes/no posts. It's ok when you just want to say hi to your friends, but constantly posting just smilies and posting with no content might cause confusion and disrupt interesting discussions. For anything else, we have a perfectly good off topic thread you can post on.

DOUBLE POSTING: Try not to double/triple post after yourself. It’s ok to do it only if no one has replied to the thread after 2 days and if you have some news to share with that particular thread. If you have something to add, you can just edit your post to include anything new you have.

QUOTING PICTURES/VIDEOS: Please don’t quote pictures or videos. It slows down the server if it’s just reposting pictures that have been posted before. You can copy & post the link if you want to talk about a particular picture, just try not to quote the picture itself. Also try not to post to many gif sets and videos in one post. This will also help with connectivity.

GIVING CREDIT: Please make sure when you post any art related pieces here that you give proper credit to the creators. (TUMBLR, LIVEJOURNAL, TWITTER, INSTAGRAM)

STARTING THREADS: Feel free to open up any new threads that you feel are valid for the board. Please check the board guide first to make sure there isn’t already an existing thread for what you want to add. If you are unsure about a new thread you can always ask.

BASHING: We want to keep this board a healthy and warm place for everyone. For this reason we are not allowing anti threads of any kind. Also bashing a character, a couple, an actor or a fanbase is completely forbidden and has no room in this board. You're entitled to voice your opinion, even if it's unpopular or negative, but please mind the other posters and try to avoid excessive negativity.

SPOILERS: Please do not post spoilers on the board. We have a REIGN thread on the Spoilers Board. Information is considered to be a spoiler if it details something that has not yet been broadcasted anywhere in the world. For more detailed information about what is or isn't considered a spoiler, or to ask questions, please read here.

• Promos that have already aired on television and small episode descriptions are not considered to be spoilers. Pictures from promos that have already aired on television or are from general promotional material at official websites or published in magazines are not considered to be spoilers.

• Pictures of clips, episode stills and filming pictures of scenes from an upcoming episode that are available on the Internet and have not been aired on television are considered to be spoilerish, and they should only be posted in the designated thread. Icons made from these images cannot be posted in the general Icon thread; nor can they be used on until after the episode airs.

• As a courtesy to our non-Canadian viewers who wish to remain unspoiled, please use spoiler tags when discussing the Wednesday night M3 broadcast. The only exception to this rule is the Episode Discussion thread, which is usually topped. Additionally, we ask that you wait to use icons or quotes from the episode, until after the Thursday night CW broadcast.

3 STRIKE RULE: Due to issues we’ve been having on the board recently, we’re adopting a new method for dealing with problems that may occur on the board. We believe it’s a necessary thing to do, as we want everyone to be able to enjoy themselves and feel respected here.

As a result, we’re adopting the Three Strike System on our board. This means every time a thread breaks one of the rules of the board, a strike is issued that lasts 6 months. If a thread gets 3 strikes, then it is closed for 24 hours. Strikes will be issued by the consensus of the moderators. Once the second strike has been issued, the moderators will consult with the Moderator Managers about a possible temporary thread closure.

The following actions will result in a strike being issued:

• Going overboard with bashing a couple in appreciation threads. Constructive criticism, comparisons, as well as some negative comments are fine, but it will be our discretion as to whether or not it crosses the line. The main point of the thread should be about appreciating the couple it's dedicated to.

• Bashing a fanbase and/or talking about posts from their thread is not allowed.

• Incessant off-topic talk. We do realize that, from time to time, there will be a lull in a thread because lack of the character/ship on-screen or because of a hiatus. However, if you want to talk extensively about something we ask you to use the Off-Topic thread or take it to PM.

• Disrespecting other posters or moderators in a thread.

• Making fun of titles, or using titles that take jabs at the other fanbase is not allowed.
