Yes, but the prequels succeeded in making him not so evil in the OT....I don't like that. I want evil vader back.

You might like him in the prequels, but I doubt you respect him to the degree the OT requires you to. Whether as Vader or dying/ghost Anakin, the character in the OT was a figure you respected. It was necessary that the prequels keep up that respect. Without it the character is ruined. The prequels failed totally there.

To an extent, I expected Anakin to be a whiner, but the prequels took the extreme.

I still don't see the "much anger in him", though. More like fear and desperation. In that regard, Lucas failed; it's only on Mustafar that Anakin really struck me as angry.

I still love Vader, more so knowing his tragic story.

Knowing how much he loved Padmé & how he had a fixation on saving those he loved from dying makes his redemption and saving Luke from death more meaningful.

I still see him as a ruthless bass ass when he ruthlessly killed his officers.
