A zonk is a booby prize, named after Let's Make a Deal; usually it's a trip to somewhere in the middle of nowhere, or a destroyed laptop or something like that.
It's related to the flokati rug, a prize which, while not a zonk, is still a prize which for various reasons you want to avoid. (The flokati rug was the cheapest prize on Press Your Luck; valued at $350, it was worth less than the cheapest, $500 space. Still better than a whammy. Having seen flokati rugs, no wonder no one wanted them.) First. I've played through it many times in an X-wing, a Y-wing, and a B-wing. Not so much on the other Death Stars.
