I guess her love for Ben clouded her judgment :( She put much faith into Han's ability to turn him back because she wanted it to happen so desperately.

:read: Interesting little snippet from the EU, Han telling baby Ben: "Sometimes, doing the right thing doesn't mean following a straight line... Don't tell your mother I said that." A little foreshadowing, perhaps :healing_hand: |
Oh wow
|
Almost as if Han knew that things wouldn't be always easy going for his son, and he was telling him "it's okay, you'll steer back towards the right path."
:bawl: |
Where is that from? Either way, it's lovely even if it hurts. :bawl:

One of the books if I'm not mistaken? It's not considered canon anymore but in the books Han and Leia do have a son who turns to the dark side.

One of the EU books  Can't remember which one :spank:

Aww, will love them forever

The end of ROTJ is the happiest I've ever seen these two look.
I adore the new direction with TFA and TLJ, particularly with regards to Kylo/Rey... But I do feel that Han and Leia's happy ending in Episode VI should be considered as sacred. |
It's hard. I love Han and Leia and I love Ben and Rey. Unfortunately we wouldn't get Reylo without sacrificing Han and Leia :( Why can't we have it all? :bawl:

Where one story closes, another begins.
