Agreed. I didn't like how Hux was turned into a complete joke. That movie really screwed up all the sequel trilogy villains. And then TROS tried to make Poe edgy by turning him into a former drug runner, which felt completely at odds with the Poe we saw in TFA.

I think that was them just trying to make him the carbon copy Han Solo, because he smuggled spice.

Right! How am I to take this man seriously as a General in the First Order if he is easily trolled by some hot shot pilot in the Resistance?
