There is no way you'd be able to play games on it, or the ones who are released recently or are going to be released...like SW battlefront, or DS II, or KOTOR II, etc.

So you just "get by" on performance? Trust me, I've played games like Diablo II with "minumum" requirements and then on a system that I build that exceeded those requirements and more...and diff. was big.

I agree, there is a substantial difference, which is why I try to keep ahead of the curve. Usually, the best bang for the buck is the video card, so I got a decent one of those, the rest I can slack a bit on, as long as I have sufficient amount of RAM.

I know that CPU speed is important, I continually have more CPU usage than needed when running several multiple apps at the same time...or a game like DiabloII Exp.

Then again, 1.5 gig of ram helps. __________________

I have a PIII 850Mhz with an AOpen motherboard, 133mhz front side bus...it played DII Exp. OK.
