It'll give you diseases and it has less nutrional value. When humans learned to cook it led to an increase in nutrition, which in turn increased brain size. Keep eating raw stuff and your brain will shrink.

Well raw fish is probably safer than raw meat (I don't think Japanse food includes raw meat -does it?). But please please stay away from the blowfish.
