Yeah, that was also part of the reason she misjudged his intentions. She associates the gloves with Kylo Ren, not Ben. Why didn't you tak off the glove, Ben?!

I think he was a nervous wreck in the proposal scene. Add that to his desperate pleas towards her and he clearly forgot he was still wearing the Kylo Ren uniform

Adam's acting is so amazing. You can see how nervous Kylo is in that scene by how he swallows. Not to mention he's got those excellent compliment skills.

Just another evidence of the effect Snoke has on Kylo. There is a huge difference between those two scenes in his expression and posture.

The first gif, he looks like the guy in class who everyone has a crush on, who goes all out to impress the hot girl.
The second gif, he looks like a berated, frightened boy about to get whipped. The difference is incredible __________________

It really is remarkable how differently Adam plays those two scenes.
Two defining moments where he removes the mask, but you can tell he's actually trying to impress Rey, whereas he can't even look Snoke in the eye because he's so embarrassed and made to feel inferior. __________________

It's amazing how subtle his acting is and how powerful at the same time. Literally same motion and action but totally different expressions, both subtle but saying so much.

Academy just doesn't care about these type of movies. But they should, because that's what people watch now. Times are changing, but the Academy froze somewhere in time.
