Yeah I agree, I think we'll get lots of amazingness in TLJ but the full redemption (if it happens) will be on the last one

Always thought that it'll be conclusion to all - pieces will be put into place in TLJ

He had pretty awesome parents, so if he is going to be redeemed, I would like to see that he inherited a few of Han and Leia’s personality traits. Definitely needs to cut down on the bratty behavior seen on TFA. How old is the character supposed to be?

My assumption is 18-20 just like the others Anakin was what 12 in the first movie than second like 18ish plus Luke in ANH was 18ish plus Rey seems like 18ish but no more than 20. So I feel prequel to original was no more than a 20 year gap and thinking same between Original to Sequel

Actually he's supposed to be 30. I think his emotional instability is supposed to kind of link him to the PT Anakin.

It's well known that Luke is supposed to be about 20 in Star Wars/ANH. And kid Anakin is younger than 12 in TPM. And it's been established that there's about 30 years betwen the Original Trilogy and the Sequel Trilogy. That's been said again and again. Look up Wookiepedia for the dates if you want to. Specifically they give the ages of 19, 9 and 29 for Luke in Star Wars/ANH, kid Anakin in TPM and Kylo in TFA, with TFA coming 30 years after ROTJ.
