Both have seen inside the other, they seem to have an intertwined past that we’re not yet privy to, and eventually, they’ll likely have an understanding of each other that no one else could fully share in.

There's so much art for them! And based on those latest gifs it seems like there's a higher quality version of the movie for gif makers now.

I agree about the "I feel it too" referring to the connection between them and also how strong the Force is with both of them.

The "It is you" from the book reinforces what Rey saw in her vision and that he may have spared her for some reason and knew that she was on Jakku. I know there are some that think that what Rey remembers in the book sounded more like a mother but I still think it could've been Kylo trying to reassure a frightened little girl before leaving her on a foreign planet. For all we know, Snoke could've told Kylo that she must be spared b/c she'll come to the dark side one day just like Palpatine kept saying that to Vader about Luke.

Amy Hun, you better stick with this ship cause it is literally THE BEST thing that came out of the movie (along with Finn/Poe).

By the way, I absolutely love and agree 100% about that tumblr post that you posted unintended. The person who did it is so ON POINT. I mean the connection between those two is so interesting and intriguing. It has the potential to be the most amazing dynamic in the trilogy. Me? I kinda see Kylo and Rey has having the potential to become what Anakin and Padme should have been...but 10 times better.

dragonfire I disagree with you. They purposely made it obvious that Kylo/Ben is still fighting between light and dark. Even after killing his father (and the novelization confirmed it), he still has remorses. There was no good left at all in Anakin once he had killed all the padawans and Padme. Not until the very end of Return of the Jedi where he was redeemed because of his son. There is still light in Kylo/Ben and I believe we are still going to see his battle in the next movies and that Rey is gonna have a key role. TFA was a big set up for what's to come next. I hate when people are ike "he shouldn't be redeemed". If I wanted Anakin's story all over again, I'd watch the first trilogy. I find this inner battle within Kylo and the fact that he could be redeemed( because he made the choice) pretty creative and interesting.

verbis diablo I so agree with your post about cousins getting married or being together. I don't know why it bothers some people. My grandmother got married to her first degree cousin when she was 14 years old. They had 8 kids together and they were pretty much in love (believe it or not). If my family had stayed in Sicilia, my mother would have probably married one of her cousins (it was the plan) but my grandfather decided to took a job in France and they had to moved, so it never happened. But that was still something very common and usual in Sicilia during the 70's.

save each other I didn't think it was that obvious that she was Luke's in the movie. It was as obvious as her being no one, really. But you wait and see, it's exactly because most people think she is Luke's that she won't turn out to be.

sum1 I still think it would be pretty CONVENIENT for her to be Luke's. I'd be terribly disappointed as a fan of Star Wars. Also, I find it a little bit offensive to say that Obi Wan Kenobi was ordinary. He was and will always be one of the best Jedi.
Rey doesn't have to be a Skywalker to be super strong with the force. Anakin was born force-sensitive, with no predispositions that we know of. It is within the realm of probability that the same goes for Rey.

MusicKat18 see, that argument about the movie being about the Skywalkers and that we still need one cause Ben is a Solo is not valid to me. Ben is half Skywalker. Luke Skywalker is going to heavily feature in the next 2 movies. Leia is still around and she's a Skywalker. The story is still pretty much about them without needing Rey to be one.

By the way, I want to talk about Rey's visions. Did you know that the ship who we see leaving Rey on Jakku is actualy a ship from the First Order? It usually carries stormtroopers. Take it as you will!

^I actually heard a theory that Ben is the one who left her on Jakku to keep her safe from Snoke...but in this scenario, the person assumed that she was his little sister. My friend had the thought she could be Captain Phasma's daughter.

I have a friend who up until recently was in a serious relationship with her first degree cousin. Out in the open, the family knew, it was all fine. I wish people would understand that as long as the relationship is consensual (and of legal age of course, because I always get the 'what about if a kid wants to be with an adult?' ridiculous response when I make my argument, and kids don't have the mental discernation to decide) and both people are happy, why should it bother anyone if they're related?

The reason is like you said because there are already SO MANY Skywalkers!! It's not because Ben/Kylo doesn't wear the name "Skywalker" that he's not one, and there's Luke and there's Leia, they don't ALL need to be Skywalkers to be great Jedis...
