To be honest, neither was wrong. Luke was right when he told her it wasn't going to go the way she thought. He may have been wrong about Ben already being on the dark side when he was at the academy, but there's no denying that Kylo became a pretty terrible person.

Poor Luke can't catch a break, though. EU is basically considered fan-fiction, now

Lando would be a great choice for relationship advice... Wherever he is.
