I've got the movies ready to watch this week so I can talk more on the actual storyline. My dad got a new tv over the holidays were you can plug in a portable USB port and watch downloaded videos and movies. It's awesome! It's been a while since I've seen most of the Disney movies so I'm going to catch up this way.

I watch both of these movies over the weekend as a kind of refresher. I’m just going to tell you a little bit about each one. Nothing to spoilery for those who haven’t seen the movies.

National Treasures

Ben Gate after learning about his family history at a young age became so fascinated with Treasure that he grew up learning all about past and the secrets it holds. Ben and Riley Poole team up with some wealthy Treasure Hunters that turn out to be nothing but greedy thieves. In comes the plan to steal the Declaration of Independence. Ben must get to it first to uncover the secrets of the hidden treasure. Ben and Riley team up with Abigail to figure out the remaining clues.

National Treasures 2: Book of Secret

Ben, Riley, and Abigail are back again, this time Ben’s family’s good name is being threatened. They try to clear the family name, and stumble on another hidden Treasure bigger than the 1st.

Now I’m assuming the 3rd movie will take place right after movie 2. The president asks Ben for a favor having to do with Page 47 in the President Secret Book. Ben agrees to help. It didn’t show the 47th page in the movie so it will remain a mystery till the next movie—I’m hoping. I really wanna know what it said.

I saw the trailer to the first film as I was watching Pirates of the Caribbean yesterday. This film looks brilliant. I can't wait to watch it. Looks very interesting.

After watching them back to back. I can defiantly say I liked the 1st movie more than I did the 2nd. They both have great humor, and fun history lessons, but the 1st started it all. I usually like the beginning of a story. Poor Riley never gets a break.

You don't have to add the spoiler tag if the film is already out. I don't mind seeing spoilers, they resolve around my daily life.

The first film looks incredible. Is it Egyptian mythology? or does he continue to travel across the world, picking out new discoveries?

It is Egyptian and yes they travel to different places for clues. They travel more in the 2nd movie.

I'm hoping it's as good as the 1st, and I'm sure it will be. The 2nd was pretty great. They just need to have the original cast. I enjoyed Ben's mother in the 2nd movie. I like her as an actress. I would love to see her again in movie 3.

It'd be great if they could rehire the original cast. I don't like it when actors are recast for the sequel.

Wifey isn't as daring as me. I always end up flooded in spoilers so I'm used to it.

I thought it might be, it looked Egyptian in the trailer. It sounds really good. I have to see it.
