OMG, Fergus is the best

No, seriously, I was cracking up during his scenes, especially this one in particular

I also like how Merida and Fergus had more of a buddies/friends relationship than a father/daughter one, the little adorable and funny exchanges they had during the competition when those guys were fighting for Merida's hand clearly pointed at that and I really loved that refreshing take on father/daughter relationship in Disney/Pixar movie. Because usually they stick to overprotective father troupe (Triton, Nemo's dad) and because of that quite often the main character, who almost always happens to be a teenager, doesn't have a chance to connect to a parent on emotional level even if in the end they find a common ground so it was nice to see a different kind of relationship in Brave when it comes to Merida and Fergus.

I love how he mimics Merida. It was the funniest scene in existence.

King Fergus and Merida had that fun kind of relationship. They were always laughing, cracking jokes. Merida was exactly like her father, she was far from becoming a real princess since Merida used archery as her common skill. This story shown that Merida can still be a princess without dressing in a beautiful big ball gown, diamonds and pearls, face made up. Merida was a natural female who didn't care much about her appearance. She looked beautiful as she was. She did things which real Princesses never would. This young girl was extremely strong, holding a main passion for what she loved most. She pushed one step further for what she believed in, what she wanted in life.

I loved Merida/Fergus' relationship so much. They had so much fun and banter as well as some real good serious moments.
