Yeah for a control freak with an anxiety disorder like me they are the worst. This thing (10 page paper + powerpoint) is due in 14 hours and the only thing that is done is the introduction that I wrote.

I'm a person that has things done ahead of time. So. My throat is closing.

You and I may be the same person. Control + anxiety = me. All day, every day. Sad but true.

I hope it works out. The prof. should at the very least grade for individual effort. I hated when they lumped everyone's grade together in group projects. Oh the rage.

Yep, that sounds about right. I despised them, even when I got to choose my group. It was just more of a hassle. I would have rather done the work myself.

Thankfully this professor is kind of grading on individual effort. As in, we get to rate how much effort each person put in, like 100% or 80%, etc. But that's all. It's not completely fair IMO but it's better than just one grade which most professors due.

I always would rather do the work myself too, Em. When I say that some people look at me like ARE YOU INSANE and yeah, I am crazy in a lot of ways, but I don't think it's completely nuts to want to have total control over something and get it done on your own time, making sure it's done how you want it. But...we're all control freaks in here so of course that makes sense to us, lol.

Everything got done, thank God. I don't think we'll be getting a grade that I would normally find acceptable but at least it got done.
