Non-Ewan Recommendations Thread: Because sometimes we watch movies that do not star Ewan

Welcome to the Non-Ewan Recommendations Thread.

We spend a lot of time recommending movies, TV Shows, Books, Music, etc. that have everything to do with Ewan (e.g., Big Fish) on other threads. But, we also like to recommend things that have nothing at all to do with Ewan (e.g., every other film by Tim Burton). Now we have a place to discuss all the various pop-culture goodies we'd like to recommend to our fellow Ewan fans. After all, we have the same good taste in men.

To start off, I have often recommended that everyone here familiarize with some "Burton Classics" such as: Beetlejuice & Ed Wood.

I'm still getting over my shock that you girls have never seen Beetlejuice.

But, then, yesterday my boss said he'd never seen Groundhog's Day. Talk about another modern-day classic...

Yay for starting the thread

You'll be surprised that I did see some of Groundhog's Day. I wasn't too fond of it, though because I hated how it repeated.

Toy Story 3 was really good. Emotional & action-packed.

What About Bob I enjoyed.

Any other good Bill Murray films?

I liked the first Toy Story, but I don't think I saw the 2nd one.

If you don't like things that repeat, you certainly wouldn't like Groundhog's Day. But I kinda think it was genius. I prefer What About Bob? as well, though.

Bill Murray is always amazing. Ghostbusters, of course, is the most obvious. And I really love Scrooged.

Oh, you have to see the 2nd Toy Story. There's a Star Wars reference in it.

I didn't like Lost in Translation.

I love the Toy Story trilogy.

OK, now I'm confused what thread was I on when I was talking about Memento, Usual Suspects and Fight Club? (Which are, subsequently, all films that I would recommend to you).

Marie Antoinette was OK. I liked Lost In Translation, but I didn't love it the way everyone else seemed to love it.

I'm kinda glad that Tom Cruise's latest film is a bomb. I don't like him. He gives me the creeps.

Knight and Day looks stupid. IDK what he or Cameron were thinking when they filmed it. It looks like there's slapstick in it, which I don't care for.

It looks like the same movie as The Killers.

I do not recommend seeing Brothers. I watched it last weekend. And it was a total . Not much happened, and the things that did happen were highly disturbing.

When I saw a clip of Brothers during a talk show, I was unimpressed. I thought Toby was overacting and Natalie was under acting
