Yep. Brian was certainly selfish and a fame whore, but he didn't ruin the lives of millions of people or kill anyone.

While I am very much anti-smoking, I do sometimes appreciate smoking in fiction. Especially when it involves rockstars.

Smoking in fiction is OK with me if the film takes place prior to the 1950s.
I prefer to see my rockstars in leather pants >>> smoking.
