Nicole Kidman's Chanel commercial caps

The guy is Rodrigo Santoro.
He was Karl in Love Actually.

Ooh, I love me some Rodrigo Santoro, however that is not his most flattering picture. Oh well, no biggie.

He's a little too bony for my taste.

The Chanel commercial..... I'm sorry, but that is the most melodramatic, ridiculous thing ever. I saw that when I was in Europe and my brother and I have been laughing about it ever since. Anyone know if you can download it, because he wanted to just to laugh some more

Hey, we finally got our parents to watch MR! They both seemed to appreciate that a ton of work went into it, and said they liked it. They weren't enthused, however. They're rarely enthused about anything though... except my mom really loves DWL

But yeah, I think they might have been a little scared or something Ryan and I were just so happy to see MR again because neither of us had watched it in a while.

You can download it from here. Wow, that Rodrigo guy has a lot of fans, considering all the videos they have about him. I had no idea who he was until a few months ago.

That's cool that your parents finally saw MR.

He's big in Brazil, I think.

He's the hot surfer/biker in Charlie's Angels 2, and he's the hot guy in glasses who Laura Linney likes in Love Actually. He's, uhh, hot.

Did any of it remind you of MR? I saw it and there were a few things that made me think of MR. Although I also went into it thinking Baz should have directed it, not Joel.

The opening scene zooming in on the theater ... reminded me of the flashback of Christian arriving in Paris.

Then the dancers during Point of No Return made me think of Tango De Roxanne. Actually those shots really annoyed me, I wanted to stay focused on Christine and the Phantom.

There was also something about the orchestra conductor too. He seemed vaguely familiar.

Those are the only things I remember at the moment.

I saw POTO today and I agree, there were parts that reminded me of Moulin Rouge. Maybe it was the art direction-set decoration.

Hmm, I wonder how much of that is based on the stage production of Phantom, though? I don't know, as I haven't seen either. I should ask my brother when he sees the movie because he's seen the play in London.

The plot is practically identical to the play. Only a few things were removed/added to the film from the play.

i def saw a lot of MR similarities. during a scene (i can't remember which one) an elephant came out and i started hitting my sister with excitement. the black & white scenes & zooming into the opera house, and the masquerade scene reminded me of mr.
