'Supergirl' Season 2 Spoilers: Jeremy Jordan Talks Winn's New Job And Love For Superman

"Supergirl" actor Jeremy Jordan revealed Winn's new job in season 2 and how much the character loves Tyler Hoechlin's Superman.

Winn (Jeremy Jordan) is leaving CatCo Media in the season 2 of "Supergirl."

During a roundtable interview at San Diego Comic-Con last weekend, Jordan revealed that his character will have a new job when the CBS-turned-CW series returns this fall.

"We are going to see him leaving CatCo," Jordan told Showbiz Junkies and other news outlets during the press event.

The 31-year-old actor then revealed that Winn will be working with the DEO again. "This year, I think it's all about the characters kind of growing up a little bit. So we see most of our main characters sort of graduating," Jordan said via Seat42F. "Winn kind of gets to realize more of his potential, so is James [Mehcad Brooks], so is Kara [Melissa Benoist], Alex [Chyler Leigh], everybody."

"When we first met Winn, he didn't have a lot of self-esteem, and so now that he has met Kara and Supergirl and all these other people -- that helped him find his sort of place," the "Smash" alum explained. "He's much happier [now], confident."

Since Winn will be spending most of his time in season 2 working with the DEO, executive producer Sarah Schechter revealed that fans can expect more fun scenes between him and Hank (David Harewood).

"Winn becomes more involved with the DEO which means we get more scenes of David Harewood and Jeremy Jordan together which is to me endlessly entertaining," Schechter told /Film. "Nobody annoys Hank Henshaw more than Winn Schott."

But that won't be the only fun dynamic that Winn is going to be involved with next season. Jordan said that Winn's relationship with Superman (Tyler Hoechlin) is pretty fun as well.

"He's like the ultimate Superman fangirl," Jordan said of his character in an interview with Showbiz Junkies. "And the fact that he gets to meet him, talk to him and may be help him out a little bit is like a dream come true for him."

In fact, "if there was one man that Winn would turn for, it's Superman. That's how much he loves Superman," Jordan told The Geekiary.

"Supergirl" season 2 premieres on Monday, Oct. 10 at 8 p.m. on The CW.
