Slightly sad that Starfury Conventions have said they prob wont be doing a Lux3 . I was hoping to go for a 3rd time an finally get a gold ticket. Hopefully the will change their minds

The organisers said they get less and less photo OP sales (the main way they pay for the event) with having the same guests over an over so they struggle to cover their expenses and with the show ending on S5 they dont want to risk losing 50-100k if not enough sales go through.

It's a sound business decision for the company, just a rather disappointing one from a fan point of view.

Although they have previously said they can't afford Tom Welling so would.never be able to get him at one of their conventions.

They did say if there were guest actors/new characters in S5 that could boost sales they may be able to do a LUX3 but without that they aren't planning another one at this stage

Lux2 (3-5 april) has been postponed. Organisers aiming for a new date sometime between June-august

Looks like Paris one has too (I've no further info on that one as I wasnt going to that. Just heard it's off too)
