I liked the Candy twist. I wonder if we'll see her again. It'll be interesting to see how he explains it to Chloe. Maybe just like "Well, we got divorced last night. It wasn't going to work." or something.

I'm waiting for Dad to show up. He'll probably tell Lucifer that his feelings for Chloe are real and vice versa, and the only manipulation he did was to make her immune to Lucifer's powers/make him physically vulnerable to her so they could be equals, and put her in his path.

I'm glad Lucifer isn't falling for Mom's "we can go home" act. Now he knows what she's plotting

Yeah that's what I want the most, for Lucifer to understand that the feelings aren't fake.

I know I'm in the minority, but things are getting awkward on the shipping front for me.
First, there was Ella and now there's 'Candy', both of whom I think have better chemistry with Lucifer than Decker does.

I do have to give all the praise to the whole production team (and especially the performances of Tom Ellis and Lindsey Gort) because I completely bought into the 'Candy' charade. Bravo!

The case was irrelevant, but it was nice and straightforward and provided some useful moments for the sake of the main plot, which is all it needed to do.

And how very un-douchey of Detective Douche. Good man!

Candy's purpose was two-fold the way I see it, one it was to drive Chloe away romantically speaking, because he doesn't want her in the mess of his father's plan and he still thinks it's unsafe for her to be with him (that was made clear during his dialogue with Amenadie), and two, to figure out Mom's true plan by adding a wild card into the mix and see how she reacted.
