IA, Heath was what drew me into this movie. I remember being in the LP thread and Trish had a hot animated icon of the two and I was like 'Is that Heath Ledger?" I probably wouldnt have seen the movie if I hadnt seen her icon.

I would have watched it if Heath and Jake hadn't been cast. The storyline is what drew me in and the trailer.

I had to watch this when it first came out.

Don't think I was really Heath and Jake obsessed until after seeing this movie.

Same here..but I asked 'Is that Jake Gyllenhaal?' And that's when my Jake obsession started. And umm..hasn't ended

I dont go to the movies a lot so I never would have seen the trailer or known about this movie at all and its not the kind of movie my bro would go out of his way to reccomend to me, so I probably would have missed it without Heath.

I need my occasional gay fix so I was already attracted to the movie it because of that. Hehe. Kind of in awe that a movie with that storyline was up in the big screen and, since I always read reviews beforehand, being well received (really well received, some seriously glowing reviews) overall so I was eager to see what the fuss was about. I think I heard Jack's line "I wish I knew how to quit you" with the music and I just had to watch it.

I remember that it took forever to get to the theater I go to. And there was some snow the day I was set to go watch it....and I went anyways!!

I think Ennis really DID care about her and thought he'd be happy with her ... but he realized he didn't LOVE her. He loved Jack, though he resigned himself to the fact that he couldn't let go of his fears of the rest of the world to live with Jack.

After finding Ennis kissing Jack so passionately, Alma faced not only the fact that her husband desired another man, but that he loved another man the way he didn't love her.

Exactly Jas, Im glad she got that even if she still stayed mad at Ennis for the rest of her life.

IA Donna, he loved Jack absolutely, but he cared a great deal about Alma and he wanted her to be happy.
