Tommy Boyds Truth About Star Trek
Sunday 25th November Live on the Internet
After the success of his Star Trek show 3 years ago at the BBC, UK radio host Tommy Boyd has decided to pick up some unfinished business and devote another night to this genre classic. This time the show launches with Play Radio UK which means live over the internet with no switchboard or censorship or screening of calls. Participants come straight to air via phones, Skype, and email contributions, to a worldwide audience of hundreds of thousand listeners (and growing). Here is a low down on the Star Trek night: Tommy Boyd's Experiment X - In Conjunction with PlayRadioUk Of course the biggest hook for most fans will be that following extensive research, Tommy knows exactly why William Shatner* is being deliberately left out of the new Trek movie, and will reveal why Paramount don't want him in a Star Trek production ever again. He's not skirting around the issue like the producers are: they don't want him in the movie! And it's nothing to do with the plot or money. He'll also expand his previous theories that Star Trek was funded by the Ku Klux Klan with further evidence to back up his case. Of course this is not all one sided: Tommy would be extremely grateful if Star Trek fans would balance the debate with their thoughts and feelings. With all the squabbling and infights regarding the new Star Trek launch, Trek fans should enjoy one night of the year where they can finally stand hip to hip and come together against the most hated man in Star Trek fandom. Like last time, it should be a really fun night with the added bonus of absolutely no broadcasting rules or censorship of ideas or language. Altho he received numerous personal attacks and verbal abuse following his previous show; even death threats couldn't keep Tommy Boyd from the truth! Join us Sunday night from 7PM GMT (international times available on the website). Prior to the show please email all queries to boydandbarkes@gmail.com (we are not personally associated with the Tommy Boyd show). And use the contact information on the website to contribute during the show on Sunday (and not prior). * These theories in no way tarnish the reputation of both William Shatner or Gene Roddenberry; but instead demonstrate the possible impact of sponsors to a shows final content. |
