But why is it those are the only movies in theaters when I can actually go to a theater, and then once my schedule makes movie-going impossible, 50 movies I want to see hit the screens all at once?

And I tend to give the edge to word of mouth reviews over the critics.

Probably not quite what they were hoping for.

Tribute to Anton Yelchin

# Tribute to Anton Yelchin (As Chekov in Star Trek Beyond 2016 Movie): We shall miss Yelchin's Chekov, for his brave assistance in rescuing the U.S.S. Enterprise starship in the 2013 movie, and we all expect his cast in the upcoming Star Trek Beyond movie.
* Yelchin left us on June 19, 2016.

lavender brown. Welcome to the Star Trek board and Fan Forum.

Anton's character of Chekov will definitely be missed going forward. I was glad to see that the character was fairly well used in Beyond.

I'm not really sure what Suicide Squad is about. I did hear that people weren't happy with it though.

I saw the new Star Trek movie today and I really liked it. I think it may be my favorite of the new timeline movies. It had tons of action and fight scenes which I loved.

I also really liked seeing Spock and Bones bond so much on this mission.

And I loved getting to see Sulu's family! It was so great to see him with his husband and daughter.

I am definitely going to want to see it again when it comes out on DVD.

Glad you enjoyed the movie Amy.

Completely agree with you about the Spock & Bones interaction. That friendship really hadn't been developed in the previous movies. A lot of their exchanges seemed like classic TOS to me.

The reveal about Sulu's family was nicely done. It let us know that he has a family, without taking time to introduce the characters, if that made sense.
