Honestly, for me Trek isn't about gory revenge, so I'm not too disappointed with the news about the Tarantino project

Agree with you there. It might have brought new fans to the franchise. I'm not sure how pleased existing fans would be with that direction.

Never heard of that guy tbh. But besides a good director you also need a good script writer tbh.
