Uh oh. I've heard that flooding's an issue with the warm temperature and melting snow. Good thing nothing was damaged though.

It was 60 degrees today.

I just spent the day without electricity. Figures, extended outages only seem to happen when Mike's working overtime. Got out the propane stove and boiled water for tea & hot chocolate, then made Kraft Dinner for supper. Wound up taking most of the Christmas decorations down. Couldn't do much else besides read and play cards without hydro.

We have a propane fireplace, so we were warm. I'm nervous about using the camp stove inside, but it worked out okay.

We have electric heat, but put in the propane fireplace several years back as an alternate heat source. The water in the tank would be hot for a while, but once you use it, you'd have to wait for the electricity to come back so it could heat up.

Good night Sarah.

I think we're in the same time zone.

Well, I got up at 9am to wait for some maintenance people. And I don't normally get up until 11am or 12pm. It's break.
