I'm worried that Americas will overspend on Non-necessities this month and be short next month on food money

unfortunately lots of people have trouble budgeting their money. They see the money in their hand now, and want to spend it without considering how long that money needs to last.

For those on the food assistance credit card... that only works on food from the grocery store and some other retail stores....

That seems like a good idea. Could you use it on things like cigarettes or magazines? I used to send my son gift cards for the grocery store because then I knew that he'd likely buy some food. Although he's pretty good with budgeting his money and covering the necessities.

I'm very smart with budgeting though.

Chris....no...the state food assistance schedule is thrown off b/c of government shut down... people got advanced February food resources in the middle of January...then 3rd week of February [part of it]… they'll get the rest in March and April it should go back to normal

No...the EBT State food credit card can only be used on Food...that's it. people do try to cheat the system by trading their groceries for cigarettes/ beer with family friends.

OK...getting stuff done...so not on much today.
