I can see Picard doing some family research and he comes across a photo of his Sea Captain ancestor standing next to a woman of fiery red hair that could pass as Beverly's twin. confused over the photo, he calls Beverly and has her meet him in his quarters where he shows her the photo. Together, inspired by the photo, they do research together to find out that the Captain and the Doctor had been intense lover's, but a conflict broke out calling the Captain to duty where in the heat of battle he's persumed dead and she marries another man.....
